Serial number

I'm having problem's finding my serial number for patching up. I bought the game on line but got the CD as well just in case however when trying to patch up it has advised the serial number is on the disk or the disk sleeve. Howevr I've got a CD number, an order number on the CD and a permit number on the sleeve but no such thing as a serial number any idea's how I can find it?

818 is old error message - briefly means your installation is invalid. You need to reinstall.

Take your original media and install that - then you can test right away to make sure it works. Then apply comprehensive patch 1.8.0.4 then incremental patch 1.8.0.6 and you should be good to go.
