Just bought the retail version.

Installed the game .. Have the main page pop up. Click play and nothing... absolutley nothing.. just the hourglass curser. 5 min 10 min 30 min etc etc...Can't even ctrl-alt-del out. Need to do a reboot... help

  Please attach your console.txt file. This is found in the UFO ET folder. Hopefully it will provide some insight. Also please install the latest patch. Refer to this post.

never mind.. after  abiut a week of trying to figure this out i finally got it. For some reason the fresh install refused to acknowledge my copy of 9.0c dx. Then by trial and error found out that it absolutley hated running with Commodo Anti-virus.  So far so good, but this is the 2nd Matrix game in a row that  didn't work out of the box. I think I need to go back to school for a cs degree just to play these games....
