Download won't install!!

I bought this game (the digital download version) the other day because I absolutely LOVE XCOM. Anyway, upon downloading the massive 1.88 GB file, i click on the "UFOEXtraterrestrials-SetupRelease-DR" and nothing happens... i get the hourglass for a few minutes, but it's completely frozen and won't respond. I've tried downloading 3 different times (at 3 hours a pop) using bothe the SAVE and OPEN options, but nothing seems to work. What do I do??

My guess would be you have to give it some more time, depending on your system specs. It takes a while for a file that large to extract itself and be ready to run. I don't know how long you've given it so far, but give it a while longer if you're expecting it to extract itself from the zip and then run.

Yes on Vista it can take a *really* long time.  The DVD version I bought took over 30 minutes from when I clicked on Install to when the install window came up!  I think Vista wants to read the entire 1.88GB file and do some digital signing stuff to it to try to verify the integrity of the file.
