(No) Important event announcements

Hi!

CEaW is a really nice game: fast play, complex enough and *no* micro-management! The only drawback (mho) is that there is not much weather effect (outside of USSR).

Playing our first campaign pbem. Here's my problem: the only announcements I get when I start my turn are Tech developments. Shouldn't I get important event announcements too? Like "Germany declares war to USSR" or "Moscow occupied" or "Egypt felt to Italian corps", something like that? (I almost clicked on "next turn" before noticing Germany had attacked USSR! [[8|] >:] - Yeah, I know... But I was deeply concentrated on the African and Atlantic theatres as nothing was going on in the East...) I just think it could be useful...

Thanks for the feedback - it's something we're trying to sort out but not as simple as it sounds
