My keys been disabled?

i tried registering sinc ei decided to try out the updates but it says my keys been disabled? i dont know why. i could use some help please.

As far as I know serial numbers are deactivated when they appear on the internet, read: they are used for game piracy.

Did you buy yours directly from Matrixgames or second hand?

i bought it directly from a store, and never used it other then installing the game.(brand new copy not a used game, from walmart)

As far as I know A World Divided has never been released in stores, so it sounds like you bought World at War then and not this sequel to it. Try registering under that game name instead.

thats the copy i have the first one not divided but theres a post in that forum to come check this one out, since its dead.

You can get the 1.087 patch for WAW from the members download section. That section does not require you to register the game unlike the registered section. All you need to do is sign up for that section since for some reason being a member of the forums does not automatically make you a member of the members section. Weird I know.

first of all i cant download the patch cause it says my serials invalid(disabled, even the one in members area) when is staff gonna look into this? ive been waiting for days now its ridiculous, unless someone wants to teach me how to send emails, could you get a staff member for me?

i cant beleive you guys reccomend buy the newer version instead cause matrixgames screwed you without any warning.

I tried it myself and you don't need a serial to download the patch. Anyway, I went to the games promotional page and selected downloads from the list on the left side and it took me right to the latest patch. Here's the link http://www.matrixgames.com/games/downloads.asp?gid=295

Your only going to need the games serial when you install the patch. If you where successful in installing the game in the first place, then the patch should work since your not dealing with Matrix servers in any way.

The sequel has much more than you presume. The changes to the neutrals is only a minor improvement. The major stuff like the totally new victory system which does away with the old percentage system and replaces it with a time scale of conquest to determine a victory level of Decisive, Major, Minor and Draw. Also automatic victory is based on gathering strategic points which is also new to AWD. AWD also has a better combat system, and the list goes on. So if you like WAW you should really consider getting the sequel and playing by email with all the players here that have made the switch.

my key doesnt work on that one eiter its odd. and i dont like the new victory system the only thing i didnt like from WAW is that at a certain date the map would freeze and you couldnt invade countrys you didnt own at wars passed 1946-47(random point between those years) with the game set to no end date/no auto vitory, since the best longest games are at immpossible but even then the germans are still holding onto norway denmark west germany and a country or 2 at 1947(with a sizeable army). which is why i want the patch, to hopefully fix this, if its added in some update.
