problem examing data for Flak unit

Post by rickier65 »

I'm playing the Crete scenario that has a German AI (from sandbox) and got an "out of bounds exception" when I press the artillery button.

The flak unit is in Hex 13,13.

I'm able to continue the game, but thought I'd let you know.

I'm playing with 1.11. I'll email a save game file, I was able to reproduce the error. In fact, even after I move the flak unit I still get the error.

Rick

I have experienced lots of this. The reason seems to be where a terrain type has a movement cost of 0 APs defined for one or more movement classes.

You should find that the same will occur when lookin at any SFtype.

Unfortunately there is no way to fix it except by using the editor and then re-starting.

ok this error will only occur in the crete scenario.
it occurs because the SFTypes are imported from a masterfile with less landscapetypes (9) then landscapetypes in the scenario file (11).

if you remove 2 LTs from the scenario or add 2 LTs to the masterfile then the error will not occur.

kind regards,
Vic
