The Hawaii Football League is a solo league. There will be ten teams, 5 in each division. The championship game is called the Aloha Bowl. In the next week to 2 weeks the teams will be posted. games will be played on Fridays and the league will not start till after 2.2. More information will be at the league website which is stil being worked on. the HFL will have fictional teams in real Hawai'i cities and islands.

The first two franchises in the Hawai'i Footall league are the Honolulu Sharks in the West Division and the Maui Marlins. Honolulu will play at Aloha Stadium in Halawa and Maui will play at Maui Field. The coaches are June Jones for the Sharks, and Greg McMackin for Maui.

The league will be 11 man pro style. The HFLs website is www.hflfb.piczo.com and has more information. We will update the website when we get closer to the start of the season.

Excellent. Love the team names and descriptions.

HAHAHAH the Pearl Harbor Bombers.  I wonder if they'd actually ever make a team called that?  I mean, not to joke around or anything, but I always thought the name Oklahoma City Bombers sounded like a good name for a team because they said "Oklahoma City Bombing" like four-thousand times when it happend and it just rolls of the tongue nicely.  But, man, the Pearl Harbor Bombers... heh.  That's my favorite team from the Hawaii Football League.

I used to have an Oklahoma City Bombers team in an old Microleague Football league.....stopped using it after the federal building thing.

I doubt they would use it, also you probably wouldnt see teams called Rebs or Rebels either. However, there are no PC police in fantasy football....so...

therhino,
Here is a 'Tropical' version of Stadium1 I did for a Honolulu team in one of my leagues.

There are palm trees and the backdrop is a mountain range I googled. Dont know where in Hawaii it is, but its now got a stadium near it [:)]

How long will it be until the Bullets cave to politacal pressure and rename themselves the Wizards?  [:D]

Nice concept, but on the front page the links to the teams blend in with the background a little too much.  Might want to consider changing your link color.

The HFL's shedule will be posted to our website in a few days. Sorry for the long wait as I have been having computer problems and have not been able to access Maximum Football.

The HFL will have to be delayed for a couple of weeks. In Hawai'i they line underground cords with paper. This is great unless it rains back to back days, so when it rains for four days in a row there is a major problem. I can get to a computer, but I can't use my own computer online. Sorry for the problem, I am trying to find a around it. The other problem with paper covered cords it that animals think it's good to eat. I just hope the someone can fix it soon.
