I predict that if you buy a retail copy of the game there will be such a disturbance in the force that Erik will find a way to get a map editor released ASAP [X(] [:D]

Well, unlike Winterstorm, Kharkov won't be going to full retail distribution. I think it's also accurate to say that the more copies of Kharkov we sell, the quicker the development of the next release in the series will be, with Western Front, map editor and so on. So even if the Eastern Front is not your favorite, you'll get the Western Front and map editor sooner if you give Kharkov a try. [8D]

Erik,
If, on Tuesday 3/18, you are undecided about whether to release the game for D/L
purchase please note that I have Wednesday off and could thus stay up well into
the wee hours 'testing' all the bells and whistles...you know, just in case...[;)]

Why no retail release Erik? This is the BETTER of the two games (I hope I'm stakin my reputation as a guru of games about to be released being good or bad) and you retailed PC:OWS although you didn't get in really the mainstream retail if you didn't land in Best Buy, Circuit City and Walmart's IMHO. ;) At least put it on "Direct 2 Drive" as a dl source. I prefer Direct 2 Driver over the others. It's better known and less hassles. Not that I use Direct 2 Drive ;) my close friends and relatives sometimes do. ;) Buy an ad in Strategy & Tactics magazine for this one. PCgamer and a TV commercial spot during the NCAA playoffs. ;) hehehe You got that kinda money don'tcha? ;)
