Ack Super Low Daunt and Dev Replacements

Post by OG_Gleep »

After winning an earlier carrier battle (Daunt on a search mission got a hit on a CV, which made it a lopsided battle. Sunk a CV and CVL, heavily dmged the 2nd Jap CV for a couple of points of sys dmg and a couple of gun emplacements) I pulled into brisbane with my CV TF and disbanded to repair the Yorktowns radar and replace a couple of 50 cals on the Lexington.

I started getting replacement pilots and planes. They are all under 30 experience!!!!!

What the hell. Dauntless and Devistator (sp?) pilots, not the Wildcats are effected. Talking 23, 25, 28, 25 etc.

What is going on?

*Edit*

Got the planes confused. Fixed.

Update: I have most of the Pilots up to high 40's low to mid 50's. Turns out I sunk all 3 Jap carriers, and haven't had to use my carriers. Its late June now, and a carrier battle is fast approaching. I doubt theres anything I can do about it, but what can I expect when I start getting replacements?

I thought USN pilot pool started in the 60's? Why was I getting them in the mid to high 20's? If I remember right, replacements are a range, so it would have had to have been 20-30 to get all pilots in the 20's. Was just dumb luck I didn't get any 20 or 21's. Only silver lining is that low one missions can get you 5+ points.
