How can one purchase a manual

Post by michaelws »

I purchased FOF online as a download. Is there any way to purchase the manual, hardcopy version? It would be nice to have it alongside when I play rather than having to revert back to the windows screen each time.

Thanks for any help here.

Yeah Id like to get a manual. Didnt even know it was available when I bought the digital d/l. Perhaps matrix could offer discount of physical FF version for those who bought digital FF? This is one of the rare games that really needs a manual.

set the printing to fit the page. 8.5 x 11 and the letters should be large enough to read

I stumbled across that in the "properties" dialogue box...last night. It worked and I have a readable manual. Thanks

I cannot seem to get my manual to open. That's a bummer as I'm just trying this game again after letting it sit on my hard drive for a long while.

You have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat? This is the first time I can remember someone being unable to open the manual. Try updating. If that doesn't work, maybe you've got a corrupt file. (There are two manual files and one appendix file. Do none of these open?)

I was already in the middle of reloading Adobe. I'll let you know if it does not work.

I printed the light version 4 pages per A4 sheet and it's good as it is. No bindings, just stapled and it's perfect, would have been even better to have front-rear 4+4 pages but would have been too slow to set it...i would have had to do manually. Patience :)

Apparently one of the plug ins I recently disabled because I was unsure of the source crippled Adobe. I now know where that one came from. [:D]
