Weird Thing Happened

After I had applied the new 3.9 patch, I just found that I couldn't open the manual (both the original one and the advanced manual)through the "Harpoon 3 Game Menu" on the desktop! So I had to open them from the game folder...Anyone has the same problem?

I believe it is a well known problem related to the new version of Adobe Reader but since there is an easy workaround it has not been a priority to fix.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 7.0.5 (still) and it works fine for me from the Start Menu.

Mm...It seems that this problem happened after i updated my adobe reader to version 8.01. Luckily, the same problem doesn't happen to HCE.

Yes, that's a known issue between Adobe 8 and the game menu. We'll fix the game menu in the next release, in the meantime opening up the manual from the file itself or from the start menu links should still work fine.

I just double-check and 3.9.0 actually does already have a fixed game menu included. If you update to 3.9.0, the issue should be resolved.

Hi Erik,
just checked, opening the manual from game menu does not work for me. Using latest (beta) patch 3.9.1. No problem opening from start menu.
