Unable to load Winter Skirmish Set Battle

I am unable to run the Winter Skirmish Set Battle in PCK. I have tried it on my desktop running XP, and my laptop running Vista. Same result on both computers: select forces okay but the game freezes on the Loading Interface screen (on 3 bars). I have experimented with various force selections. Exactly the same result. I have the latest drivers on both computers.

I tried running the Winter Skirmish Set Battle under PCOWS (with PCK installed) and it runs no problem.

I can confirm the same problem.

Must have slipped through testing, from memory that battle had not be played in a long while.

I am really knackered right now after being up all day answering questions, I think I will let Erik take a look at the problem when he gets up (which should be soon) with hopefully a fresher set of eyes than mine. From memory I think it might have something to do with the map name.

You guys are lucky that you have developer help across the entire date line. 24 hours a day response!

Just to confirm, you have both Winterstorm and Kharkov installed on this system and Winterstorm was installed before Kharkov?

I have the same problem too.

I have PCOWS first, installed Karkov 2nd.

Hangs at same spot ... 3 bars.

EDIT NOTE : And yes ... it worked fine before I installed Karkov.

Ok, so the problem is with the version that's in Kharkov. I'll see if I can duplicate this - if so we'll get it fixed for the first update. Please avoid this one for now.

This problem was a typo - in the last edit we had changed a "M" to a "m". If you unzip the attached file into your /Data/Scenarios folder it should now work fine. This will also be fixed in the first update.
