odd appearance in combat reports

Post by Cathartes »

Every now and then, when a night bombing attack occurs and a MSW clears mines, some of the destroyed or damaged planes from the night bombing bleed into the MSW event (note the following combat report just received--boldfaced item). This is from a PBEM, CHS, latest patch:

Ki-61-Ib Tony: 3 destroyed

Allied aircraft losses
B-17E Fortress: 3 damaged
B-24D Liberator: 4 damaged

Japanese ground losses:

Very old bug* - stuff that is otherwise never reported in the animations (i.e. - OPS losses, etc.) will often "bleed over" into Minefield reports... you can sometimes see ships sinking on the other side of the board (from prior damage) reported in any minefield report (i.e. - you might see a ship that sinks in say, Palembang, in a minefield report at Iwo Jima.)

*EDIT - not positive, but i THINK this kind of stuff also appeared in UV.
