smoke: why not an "on"/"off" view?

Post by balenami1291 »

I prefer don't upload a new image and I use an exstent one:

tm.asp?m=1775371&mpage=1&key=

I'm in the same situation.

I searched an icon/hot key for smoke "on" or "off" at least when I'm issuing orders.
(as I can find in the old and venerable Steel panther).

But I don't Find.

Missed something?

Excuse my bad english.

Do you mean to temporarily turn off the display of smoke so that you can see units within it? No such key at present, but if you really can't see the unit in the smoke at all, you can still click on the HUD icon to select it or use the hotkeys to cycle through your units until you get to it.

I'll add that request to the wishlist.

I don't care about turn off the display of woods but one key for smoke is welcome.

Here's a little trick to shrink your smoke. Save the game then reload it. It will be a little puff until you hit the go button.

Thanks.

"save & reload" works very well.

I'll try that next time, thanks.

I vote for having a toggle for "view smoke" and "view trees" on/off. Sometimes you've a hard time selecting units in woods.
