Lack of a 'jump map' hardly makes the game unplayable though I grant you it is useful.

And it works just fine for me in 1.23 so maybe your install was corrupted.

You need to change your screen resolution. It was gone on mine when I first installed it. I changed the res and there it was!!!!

To move around the map, I tend to use the cursor keys. Works fine, I think.

I changed it to 1024x768 and it worked fine. I have a 19" monitor....

Yes like Treale said. The new setting after installing the patch was like 1900xsomething iirc, just restart the game and select the resolution that matches what you are using.
