AAR for HARD_Sarge

Post by Hard Sarge »

and this one is for me, so I can tell what I am doing before or after Steve tells what happens

again, we be trying the 7 day BoB41 Campaign

first off, Harley has been playing with the font, so some of the screens may not look right, as he is not finished with it yet

there are a couple of known issues we are looking at, so either we can't do all we want, or things may be wrong with what you may see, most of that should be corrected soon, but wanted to get a AAR running, so I will live with that

figure I will test out Steve, to see how he does things, I think he and others tend to sit back and wait to see what is going on, while I tend to jump on everything I see

if that is so, then I want to try and blind him some, so am trying to knock some holes into his High Radar chain, while still slipping in and doing some damage to his main Airfields, and if I can catch some of his fighters between a rock and a HARD place, so much the better

of course, my way works better vs the AI, then vs a Human, but we will see

this is a raid on Kenley

there will be raids following it and raids breaking off from it

Alt for the raid is 17,000, that gives the 109s a chance to gain Alt on the defenders, putting them into there prime combat zone, but the Spits and Canes if at the level of the bombers will be in there comfort zone, I get the bounce, I got the advantage, if it is a Head to Head fight, the RAF has the advantage

2ndary target is one of the radar sites on the coast

I am letting some of the 110s come along for the ride

hope they enjoy the sites

they are trying to get though, while the RAF should be busy, or turning for home

over the next couple days, that open plain area is going to have a lot of crash sites to clean up, hopefully, RAF but...

this is a shot of the map pulled back with most of the raids plotted

some sweeps to keep Steve Honest, more stuff spread out to see if he reacts, if not, maybe I get a cheap attack or two in

I not shown what I got set up for night, that just confuses what the day plots were

questions or what not, ask away

Hey easy on the Swifty type person, we need to make it look like someone is reading this stuff and all of his short posts make it look like it got something good going on

Your just lucky there are only 2 people in the world named Harley and the other one never signed up on this forum

hmmm, trying to tell what went on

I disappointed in my radar raids, but did much better then I expected on the Airfields raids

Steve said my Sweeps hurt him, but it looks like only one hit him good, the others being along for the ride, but, one sweep can ruin your day

a good start, but, I think it will make Steve a little more weary now

but in a short game, that is a good thing for the attacker

really, really disappointed in those two raids from Luft 3 failing, I had high hopes for that area (with drop tanks, 10 Group is a decent target)

losses look good, and the number of missions looks very good, had almost a 4 to 1 edge on the RAF, and I was able to rest over 1000 machines

which may make the short campaigns pretty tough on the RAF player, in the long verison, they will build up there numbers, but in a short game, the LW is going to have a nasty edge in numbers

we still working on it, right now that is not a good one for all of the screens, as the screens wern't set up for it, but once we tone it down a bit to fix what needs to be fited, it should be good

okay plotting for the 2nd day

I think Steve is going to be a bit quicker off the mark this time, so I have dragged the raids out a bit more, still not going for the heart yet, getting it set up and looking for things

bad part is, I am finding them

score is not correct, score started out I think 82 to 1, I got to work that one out, the game is taking something it not suppost to be counted, so the battle is closer then it looks
