Bino's

I see there is a way to use the leaders bino's, but is there a way to move the view? I switched to bino's and as soon as I move the mouse to look around the view swiches to normal.

For me, when I'm in the bino view if I cick and hold the middle mouse button I can pan the view around just fine. Just don't hit the Tab key again.
