Random XML & Set Battle

Post by Mraah »

Erik,

In the Set Battle menu, old RBG scenario's are still shown. The Random XML shows the last scenario it generated but I can't find the XML's for the older random scenarios that still show up in the menu.

How do you get rid of the old RBG scenarios?

I thought it was suppose to only have one.

While we're on the subject of the Set Battle menu ... please add to wish list --> Page-UP and Page-DOWN buttons.

Thank you,
Rob

Odd... they should be overwriting each other. They all write to "random.xml" so creating a new one should remove the old one by overwriting it as long as you didn't change the file name.

Will do.

Yes, it's overwriting the file. The problem is the old random scenario's are still listed (and playable) in the Set Battle menu.

The Scenario folder only shows one Random XML ... I'm unable to locate the older random XML ... it's like they disappear (physically) yet mentally the game still see's them. And yes, it's not in memory. You can do a full reboot and they still show up in the set battle menu ... like in screen shot.

The only time I see them not there, is when the new date/time stamp for battle (in screenshot) is the same as an older scenario.

Rob

EDIT NOTE .... I haven't changed any names either.

Erik ....

Wait ... I stand corrected ... sigh ... I did change the 10/28/42 battle's name .... gawd, I'm sorry.

I changed it to name that I thought was a released battle.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!!

Sorry to waste your time.

Rob

Thanks again for your fast reply!!! Matrix support rocks (ok, yeah, I'm buttering you up)[:)]
