Dumb rob question

Post by rroberson »

Been toying around with the game, like what I see, but I haven't found out how to use the support units (Stukas and Arty) ...admittedly Im too damn lazy to read the tutorial guide. Is there a specific page I need to find (I miss the days of paper books)in that digital guide?

The aircraft pick their own targets so you don't do anything with them.

To target artillery, make sure a platoon leader squad is "in-command" that turn by having a green (not yellow) radio xmit symbol in his info box. Right click for the order menu, Spot Indirect... then select the battery & target area spread. After you've clicked on a target & called the artillery in, you can immediately give fresh orders for the unit that called it on the same turn - it'll still show up (which is something not mentioned in the manual).

If you want to RTFM, the artillery order is described on pg. 38 of the manual. [;)]

Rob - the physical copy does come with a printed manual, FYI. Koel covered the rest well. [8D]
