Tactical reserve and artillery

Post by rocketman71 »

If you move an artillery unit and put it on tactical reserve, will it increase turn burn if it supports a battle with friendly units that have not moved at all?

No. It is only measured by land unit attack, they will break bombardement (sp? :) when land unit's break attack. Sometime they don't shoot at all if they don't pass comm check. You can see this in battle report, which unit is in attack and which is not.

BTW, IF arty DIRECTLY bombards some hex with direct attack (let's say 2 hexes dist.) with no land unit's involved, sometimes it can bombard and bombard and I've seen turn burns only with bombardement but that happens very rarely.
