Hard Drive Failure

Post by TedLee »

Hopefully, I'm finally in the right place. I experienced a hardware failure and in the process of re-installing applications on a new hard drive. On or close to 9/20/07, I purchased Maximum-Football as a download and cannot re-install it as I'm being asked for a serial number which I no longer have-it was stored only on the failed hard drive. I'm happy to supply any needed info I can to confirm purchase.

Best chance I guess, will be to contact Eric Rutins via PM. He is the main administrator of all Matrix forums & very helpful. Probably he can help you out of your problems.
To avoid future problems, i can only recommend to save the serial numbers of your Matrix games in the old fashioned way to write them down on a paper etc. No offense intended. Hope you´ll get help as soon as possible.

If you log in to the members area, and click My Games, there is an option to retrieve serial numbers for any purchased games.

I have three computers at home and one is almost always crashing and have done exactly what Gary Sorrell said. It is very easy and quick.

If you registered, you can get your serial number from our Members Club.

Alternately, please go to www.findmyorder.com for your order history and serial numbers/download links.

Needless to say, as with any downloaded software, back up everything :)  I keep my serial number in a text file on all my computer HD's, my MaxFB CD, and two external media.
