Hi,
I wanna make some scenarios (10-20) starting from 1942 going to 1944.
and then I want to build a campaign randomly, delete to scenarios there besides of the first and then add my owm made scenarios.
As far as I know, I have to to put my core force in every scenario to have the medals and other won capabilities in every scan.
I want to change armor types of my core forces in scenario 10 f.e. from panzer IV to panthers, but they should have their medals and won capabilities.
Is it possible and how I have to do this?

Hi Visor,
I'm not sure how much you know about the random campaign system, so I'll answer this assuming you understand it and we can work back from there if you have more questions,
The way to do this is to create very detailed Battle plan files instead of scenario files. You can essentially turn each battle plan into a scenario, with exact forces, specific briefing, specific map, etc. Battle plans don't have to be random, though they can be. In any case, make 10-20 battle plans that are your specific scenarios. You can start by editing these as scenarios in the scenario editor, then copying the relevant info into a battle plan, that way you can play them as set battles too.
In any case, make those battle plans and divide them into two halves. The first half has your core force with Panzer IVs. Each of these battle plans should have a date range that goes from the start until the upgrade date. The second half has your core force with Panthers. This half goes from just after the upgrade date to the end of the campaign. Then you make one more battle plan which has a specific date or a very limited range that falls in between where the first half's date range ends and before the second half's date range begins.
When you construct the random campaign, you'll want to first add the (let's say 10) battle plans for the first half. Make them all normal battles (not "key" battles) as this will ensure that their order is randomized. Then add the single upgrade battle plan and make it a "key" battle to make sure that it is always played to make sure the upgrade happens. Then add the last 10 battles after the upgrade, they can also be non-key battles. The end result will be that each time you generate a campaign from this random campaign template, the first half of the battles will be randomized in type and order, as will the second half, separated by the upgrade battle that always occurs to upgrade your force.
If you want to always have a set starting battle by setting a separate battle plan before the first set's date range starts and making it a key battle. Same idea if you want to always have a set concluding battle.

Look in the PcK directory, under the Manuals folder ... pdf called Random Battle and Campaign Generator Addendum.
This will explain battle plans and such while you wait for Erik to come back online.

Yes, provided that the platoon name remain the same!
Eg name = "Heavy Panzer" for both your PzIV and then Panther's platoon.

Key battles always happen.
Auxiliary battles get chosen randomly depending on the number of battles the player wants to fight when they play the campaign.
Example
10 Key battles
50 Aux battles
Player wants to play a campaign of 30 battles
10 of these will be key
The remaining 20 will be chosen from the 50 aux battle pool.

The battle plan defines the properties the RBG uses to make an actual scenario. Think of it as a meta scenario as there can be extensive randomization.
The battle plan defines sides, core units, setups, maps, dates, preset, points, ..., well just about everything the RBG needs to make a scenario.

You don't need to. You load battle plans into the random campaign editor (see manual) and then select them key or not. Those R.... files are actual fixed scenarios which the RBG has already built from a battle plan.

Yes, as long as you keep the unit name unchanged, you can upgrade the equipment and everything else will carry over.

Key battles _must_ happen, so they set the minimum # of battles in the campaign. Auxiliary battles fill in the gaps. So if you have a 20 mission campaign with 1 key battle, the user can choose to fight only 1 battle or up to 20. If he chooses 1 or 10 or 20 battles, he will always get that one key battle and then a random mix of the non-key battles.
