RCG is very cool

Post by FNG »

As a long time SP:WAW player who enjoyed the 'Long Campaigns' of old, I am very very impressed by the RCG. I have just started a 1st Panzer long campaign and am five turns in to the first battle. With the specific briefing and intelligence details, it is far more coherent and immersive than the SP campaign structure.

The gameplay thus far is very cool with the AI sensibly deployed and providing decent resistance despite having inferior individual units (currently - I am dreading the T-34s and KV-1s arriving on the scene!). I am very much looking forward to the highs and lows of this campaign as it unfolds - beloved units getting annihilated, epic victories against evil Bolshevik heavy armour, etc.

Hats off to all involved [:)]

I'm still reading the manual but I will be in your shoes soon.
