supply wagons

Post by madgamer2 »

Been awhile sense the last time I played but don't the supply wagons reappear a certain number of turns after they are used up? Also do the wagons you capture reappear for your side?

thanks

As far as I remember they do not re-appear, even the ones you capture.

Supply wagons do not regenerate themselves. When they are used up or destroyed, they are gone. Any reappearance of supply wagons are additonal trains already included in the order of Appearance.

Captured supply wagons change sides when captured, but lose at least half of their supply value when that happens. Not sure if it is a fixed percentage or a randomly generated reduction, but it seems to be at least half.

Hope this helps.
Signature? Maybe someday over the rainbow.

As Valkyrie said.  It does make me wonder, though.  Since the CSA army outsourced its supply transport (wagons and horses were privately owned), what did they do with captured supply wagons once the supplies were used; auction them off?
