japs PBEM-guide?

hallo gentlemen,

joe and me decided to play scenario 2 again with me as the IJN-player. its my first time as the japs player in a PBEM-game.

so i started the game, selected the game-type (PBEM game), selected the scenario and strated the game as japanese player.

after ending my turn, i went into the save game screen...so far so good.

but as a tried to save the game, i got an error mesage (error. can not save the game...), my prepreations were lost and i had no savegame to send it to joe.

now all i need is a guide, how to make a turn and send it to the opponent as the japs-player.

You save the game the same way for the Japanese as you do for the Allied side.  The difference is as the Japanese after the 1st turn you will send 3 files

I've never seen an error message when trying to save a turn.  Did you click on the arrow to end your orders phase?  Were you set to PBEM before you started with all agreed to settings?

I guess just this could be the mess. May be you did not initiate the game as "PBEM"? BTW - take a look into your PMs...

my mistake was to name the savegame "bb/joe" without knowing, that / isnt allowed when you save a game.
