couple problems I have not noticed till now

On kickoff after safety the ball seems treated as though it was from the 30 as it travels much too far. Judging by the post David just made on kickoff depth it seems as though his coding procedure does not make an allowance for the kick coming from the 20.

Another thing, much more important, are interseptions. Since I have now started getting picks I notice there is never a return by the defensive player. Double checked the log on 15 or so games and there was not a single return. This is a pretty important item.

Returns should be possible (even when i i have still to see an interception return TD). The screen is from a testleague and shows some history stats. The stats seems low but the league has only a very short schedule (6 games) because priority have here are some other aspects. All games are quick simmed.

I play all of my games in 3d. Interception returns are very rare. Most of the time as soon as the defensive player intercepts the ball he is tackled right away by the reciever. I once saw Ed Reed take an interception back 96 yards to finish a game for the ravens. That was awesome. But, something seems to be off in 3d mode.

Also i rarely see a receiver catch a pass, and break a tackle.

BTW.  The interception returns have always been a problem for me, and i bought this game from the very beginning.  I just figured my player ratings weren't right.  But, sincy JD's global editor has came out i've tweaked everything possible to no avail.

I do not know if the question was directed to me but my stats are from simulated games. I did not change any player ratings.

i uppped my catch ratings for DBs and it helped improve my INTs.  However, DBs still don't return the INT for yardage.

tbird -- looks like you have two players that have returned for any yardge to amount to anything.

Maybe there is some rating for them that is much different than the others that have the int's. Carry rating or something like that.

Any chance you could check come ratings?

Carry rating should just affect fumbles. Strength and size from i understand are supposed to be what helps determine a tackle or a broken tackle. Not to mention angle.

Frank - I understand all that but there almost has to be something different about the two players who did get interseption yardage even if it should not be making a difference.

tbird - thanks but I thought maybe there was some rating on the two guys with all the int return yardage that was having an effect even though it should not. Those said ratings being much different than other dbs'.

Would be nice to get a comment from David on this.
