On the radar

Post by rroberson »

I have Supremecy at Sea, Supreme Ruler 2020 and GG's War between the states all on the radar this month. The question is...is AE among those. I can probably afford 2 out of the 4, but would push AE into the head of the line if I thought I would be released prior to the end of the month...is there any shot at this...

yes yes I know...I'm pushing it here, but my long running solo game with stock WITP has just lost its flavor with the anticipation of the expansion.

If only we could tell you...[;)]

I know this, however, and I'm not revealing any big secrets by saying it. In this, as with other software projects, the program belongs to the development team until the so-called "Gold date", when it's turned over to the publisher.

What we turn over to Matrix on our "Gold date" is not a product that can be sold. After they get it, they build a proper installer, add music and all sorts of graphics, fix the documentation and what not, and only then can it be released.

Much like layering on some sauce on a Terminus (with special spices), throwing it on the grill, carefully cooking while drinking one case of cold beer.

It takes time...

Yes, in "most" countries but sometimes mistakes happen...

And in no way is booze to blamed if something were to happen.

The people are calling for action!!!

So either give us AE or start digging the BBQ pit....pronto.

In fact, if you don't stop threatening me, I'll make sure you'll never be allowed to buy it.[:'(]

After long reflection the BBQ featuring roast Terminus will be changing the menu.
Roast Terminus will not be served.

It turns out it is more cost-effective to take advantage of the low-cost flamable properties of a Terminus as a fuel source rather than an entre.

Fire up the Termnus and throw some steaks on the grill.

It is our hope that Terminus will now be happy and stop his whining and making of lame threats.

So what you're saying is perhaps I need to reserve one of my two gaming purchase slots this month. [&o]

Just save the money for AE this month.

And then you will be able to purchase it the first day it is released. Be that July, Aug, Sept or later. You'll have no worries.

I like what I see with it so far and intend to get it, though if what IM hearing here is true :) ...I may hold off until the fall...I have a feeling that AE may rekindle my love for WITP again.
