Pause Key No Workski

Ctrl-P gives me a message that says "Pause key pressed", but the game doesn't actually pause.

You've discovered the pause key we use to stop the AI for testing purposes. I don't suggest you use that. Usually if you press it during the AI turn, it will stop at the beginning of the next phase.

I need to go back and check, but I'm pretty sure that's the one listed in the hot keys.

You are right, I had forgotten that we put that in the hot key list. In the manual it describes it in detail in section 3.2.1 under Miscellaneous Hotkeys. It does not pause the game immediately during the AI phase, but at certain points, so once the AI starts into it's turn, you have to wait awhile before it will stop and pause.
