Lovely, lovely maps... *sigh*

Lovely, lovely maps... *sigh*

Post by Perturabo »

So, I was working on that AAR (it took me about 40minutes of playing, 40 minutes of watching and a hour of making the post) and I have to say that it reminded me about a thing that I love in CCMT (and generally in CC4+) - lovely, lovely well made maps[:)].
I love them, because in opposition to those horrible blurred 3d things from many other games they are real works of art.

Of course they are some maps that aree ugly and badly done, like Nato Mountain (photos!?), Ghazwah (scale!?) and some that are pretty mediocre, like Towns and Rurals), but there are some that I love, mainly Centralian4 (that river bed with stones, those roads!), SidiSuleMT, AzzaziyMT (that town!) and The Base (that sand!)[:D].

Generally, my favourite maps are those which are works of art and least favourite are those which have fragments of real photos.

So, which maps are your most and least favourite?

I really enjoy playing on BosCity.

And Ghazwah, great cat and mouse map in h2h... despite the scale issues.

I haven't found a map yet that I didn't think was beaufiful. Nato Mountain might be my least favorite but I still like it, overall.
