Screen mode

Hi, just got the game.
It looks nice - but I can't seem to run it in 'true' full screen mode.
The blue bars from the Windows desktop are there at the top and the bottom, no matter what options I choose in the prefences menu.
Is it supposed to be like this?
Any way to get rid of them?
I know it's a minor thing, but for some reason it really annoys me.
Sort of spoils the immersion.
I haven't had this issue with any other Matrix games before.

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW widescreen monitor, native resolution 1680x1050.

EDIT: Correction, I can of course achieve 'true' full screen mode by choosing that option in the prefences menu, but then I'm thrown back to a very low resolution.
Is it possible to run the game at high resolution without running in windowed mode?

Full screen mode is only available in 1024x768. In order to get other resolutions you need to be in windowed mode. I'm not certain, but I think you can't avoid having the bars at the top and bottom if in windowed mode.

Right click on the Start Button - go to Properties - Taskbar - click on "Auto-hide the taskbar" - this will rid the screen of the Taskbar unless you move your mouse over the area where the taskbar was

HAve no idea how to get rid of the top bar

Take a piece of black electrical tape and run it along the top of the screen about a 1/4" down from the bezel...[:D]
