Detailed combat with more than 2 players.

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Detailed combat with more than 2 players.

Post by Carnyx »

Hello, I am looking at picking up this game but have questions about detailed combat. Can the detailed combat option be used when more than 2 players are playing online? Does the game continue for the other players while the detailed combat takes place?

Cheers,

It should work fine, though more players means that the connection might be slower, and there is a greater risk of dropped packets. (One of our former testers used to have a regular Sunday night game with people around the world, and he had no problems.)

If not everyone who's online is involved in a battle those who aren't get to watch. The game can't continue until the battle is resolved.
Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I torment eager potential customers by not sharing screenshots of "Brother Against Brother." Everyone has a talent.
