Anglo-cizing Place Names and Correcting text....

Post by Hanal »

I would like to correct many of the spelling errors and clean up some of the place names. Is there a file I can acces in order to perform this task?

Unfortunately, in-game texts are hardcoded. You can send me the list of all spelling errors that you noticed and I'll fix this. We're planning to move all these strings to external resource file in future. In case of names of cities, units, generals etc. - they are in text files in each scenario directory (cities.csv, land_units.csv, commanders.csv etc.)

BTW, note that some cities names are transcribed in original language, so Athens are Athinai, Warsaw is Warszawa and so on. This is not a mistake.

Thanks for the response...I understood the origins of the names and I was just going to do this on my own..I was not suggesting that you needed to change the place names for everyone....[:D]
