The invisible file syndrome?

My problenm is this, and it's a strange one.[&:]
When I save a Pt2 file from an e-mail to my save games file, or to any file on my computer for that matter it does not show up when I go to load it from the game.[X(]
This also happens if I change the name of a Pt2 save file from a solitare game.[X(]
Can't see it at all when I'm trying to load from the, "Load Saved Game," tab.
It is indeed there, but it's invisible to the naked eye.[:'(]
Even though I can't see it, If I manualy type in the files name, it loads just fine.[;)]
However, like I said, it does not visually appear in the folder from the game side of things, so I can't just double click on the file to load it.[:@]
If I look in the folder manually from the desk top and follow the path through my hard drive it is visible.[:'(]
Just not when trying to load from the game...
I'm running AT 1.15...[:(]
I have not gone to the next level yet because I wish to finish PBEM games currently underway, and I'm afraid it will bugger things up if I do.[:-]
Has this happened to anyone elese beside me?[&:]
If so, were you able to fix it some how?[:'(]
It might be a non issue when I do update, but I figured it was worth mentioning in case the problem does carry through in the latest update.[;)]

I'm guessing that you have your windows pref set to hide file extensions, and when youre saving the file it isn't coming in as what you think. Not sure thats the case, but I would check that if I were you. You maybe be saving a file that you think is being saved as newturn.pt2 and in reality its getting saved as newturn.pt2.zip, or something along those lines.
