There's not going to be a game. We've been playing the world's longest-running practical joke on the rest of you.

Since I won't have to spend any money on this phantom product I can invest in something really good, like........

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Sauro, there's talk of release by the end of the year, but Matrix hasn't set a release date, so it could be longer. I'm still holding out hope we'll see it by December 7...

Someone said it will be out about a month after it goes gold
Whether that is true or not, what does going gold mean?

"Going Gold" essentially means that the game has reached its final pre-release revision and is sent to the manufacturer to be put on disc and shipped to the distributors.

a few months ago (blimey, it seems like a few months ago!)andymac confirmed that even if it went gold today there would be a 3 month wait - and said he still hoped to get AE out in 2008 - that would hopefully mean you had a good idea of where you were in September, and as its nearly September, im just asking if you have any info...... on the assumption that terminus isnt right obviously!!!

There's no AE, but if there was, the time from Gold to release isn't necessarily three months. The exact prediction was 30-90 days.

Hypothetically, I'm a scenario designer for this non-existent product. Never been a beta tester.

Is the wait after Going Gold still the same for the digital download version?

Well, if there was a game (which there's not), the development team (which doesn't exist, and of which I'm certainly not a member) would definitely try their hardest to finish the job before the end of the year. But that's all strictly academic, of course.
