League Numbers

Post by DAWUSS »

OK, how many leagues would be considered too many? I feel I have a bunch already at 14 -

*Pro Bowl
*NCAA Arena Football (something I experimented with, only contains 2 teams right now, the Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes)
*CFL (more like a modified version of Mykal's MFCFL as it had more teams [swapped a few team names and one location])
*CIS
*IFL (Indoor Football League - my outlet for various uniforms and teams I download under AFL rules)
*MFL
*USMFL
*MIL
*NCAA (not divided into Div I-A, I-AA, II or III)
*NFL
*NFLE
*NFHS (aka - high school football)
*one Pee Wee League
*and a Star Wars league (only has a few teams, logos are the worst part of all this)

I know, 14 is probably nothing (and there's a few leagues I can still think of [one league won't work though]), probably some of you have more than 50...

Im not at 14 yet, but im getting there. There's no point in trying to resist, as we all know, "Resistance is futile".

I am tinkering with the idea of doing an Indoor/8Man version of both the NFL and NCAA. Same teams and logos and such, just fictional players.

I like your NCAA AFL idea. That would be a lot of fun to mess with.

just counted mine, right behind you Dawuss with 13
but so what....................
thats the beauty of this title
it gives you the power to more or less do as you like

Not sure I'd go as far as having a StarWars league though but each to his own

It wasn't that bad - it wasn't something I quite feel like building up all the way. I just put two teams together (IU and UM) and played a game to see how NCAA AFL felt and looked.

Yeah, I know, the best part is all the leagues and teams you can have, but I was worried about starting to have a "little too many"

As for the Star Wars league, I was playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and I was still in the Star Wars mood when playing MFB again a while later. The toughest thing is trying to find logos to use for teams. All the logos seem to apply to governments and military units. So right now the only team I have done are the Mandalore Mandalorians. The other (unfinished) teams I have in that league are the Corellia Slice Hounds, Coruscant Centurions, Theed Monarchs, Mon Calamari Starfighters, and the Tatooine Krayt Dragons. So my life will be easier in the RL leagues, I'm not even going to worry about having alien skins and faces.
