Help Please

I have not played the game for a long time now but decided recently to come back to it.
Last update was 2.04 so was delighted to see all the new updates.However once i try to update past 2.04
it doesn't want to know. The main screen appears but all the icons are greyed out and then i get the message ' Battle of Britain english txt has encountered a problem and needs to close'
Thats it guys.
Any help greatly appreciated.
