How far is EE ?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

I second this question.  i want to buy it now.

matrix needs to really get the word out on this game.  there is none like it , anywhere.   anyone who is interested in the this time period will have a good time.

I really like the fact that i can take control of the battles or leave it my generals.   the economy and diplomacy is unbelievable.

empire total war my have the graphics, but i am quite certain it will not have the deep game play as COG.

We still need to do a good amount of testing to see that the various changes work well together. We're about to begin updating the manual, which should be taken as a good sign -- manuals don't get written until the code is pretty much set in stone.

If the game were 100% done tomorrow it would still take about a month for the game to be released, since the gold master would need to be created and tested, physical copies to be produced, etc. But we've still got a few more weeks of testing. So that gives you an idea: we're close, but not there yet.

More screenshots very soon. We're waiting for the ship pennants to be done so that we can let you all see what naval combat looks like. (Right now, we've got some rather unsightly squiggles as place-holder graphics.)
Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I torment eager potential customers by not sharing screenshots of "Brother Against Brother." Everyone has a talent.
