PBEM confusion

After having this game since it came out, I finally tried to do a PBEM game. I have been the union, we are using advanced game rules with quick combat, but after i end the turn, the game is not making a PBEM file. I am doing all it says to do. I make the file and name it etc and the "file is ready to be emailed" box comes up at the end of turn, but when I check the PBEM folder there is never a file in there. I have the game updated, any body have any idea why the game is not making a PBEM file? It is driving me crazy!

Strange. Maybe for some reason the game is saving elsewhere. Did you check the regular Save folder? If the files aren't there, perhaps search your drive for files *.rep or *.sve, since all PBEM files have those terminations.
