Does this run on Vista? XP?

Post by Lecivius »

I looked around a bit. Does this run on Vista? XP? I had the original version a LONG time ago, I'm not sure if this will run on newer machines.

How long ago are you talking about?

The Harpoon2 was for DOS, but you can run it on XP with a utility called, DOSBox.

Harpoon3 will run on XP and Vista.

Harpoon3: ANW will run on XP and Vista, too.

I had the original Harpoon, for DOS, on 10 3.5's  [:D]

I got H2, but never got around to it.

Looking at this, I guess I'll have to buy it and see [;)]

Harpoon Classic Scenarios

Post by hermanhum »

That sounds like the version we now call "Harpoon Classic".

A new edition of that venerable classic is also available:
tt.asp?forumid=305

If you are interested in both versions, you better hurry up and decide because the bundle discount expires this week.

Just what are you trying to buy?  ANW? HCE? or the bundle containing both of them?

What URL are you using to try and purchase them?

The man in charge of Business relations is Erik Rutins.  You can send him a Private Message.  showProfile.asp?memid=9  They are usually pretty good about fixing stuff like that.

Harpoon 3 ANW and HCE all work on my Vista x64 edition without any trouble at all. Meaning no crashes at all!
