Combat Resolution (Land)

Post by genehaynes »

Just purchase the game. Currently I'm playing the tutorial to get a feel for the game, just moving units around , attacking ,etc.

I know it's probably not necessary to know all of the "under the hood" calculations performed for combat resolution. I was wondering if anyone could explain how the Unit attributes are used in land combat resolution. An example of land combat (clear terrain, no attack / armor penalties) of Infantry vs Infantry, Infantry vs Armor, and Armor vs Armor would be graetly appreciated.

Just curious about how the attributes of strength, effectivness, survivability, AT bonus, attack and defence values, etc. are used to determine combat results. I apoligize ahead of time is this topic was already covered.
