Purchase screen (Units)

Commander – Napoleon at War is the second in a series of high level turn based strategy games. It spans the Napoleonic Wars from 1805 to 1815, allowing players to control France or the Coalitions against it through the entire period or in shorter scenarios. Easy to learn, with fun and addictive gameplay, this is a Napoleonic wargame in the style of the old "Panzer General".

Purchase screen (Units)

Looks great, however i notice just Milta and Line Inf, just two inf choices? i never saw Guard inf or Grenadiers etc, are there more inf selections than just the two. Also do the nations have any unique units such as Russian cossacks etc?

There's Militia, Light Infantry and Line Infantry. Grenadiers are actually one of the Research sub-paths for Infantry. France starts with Level 1 Grenadiers and it boosts the strength of their Line Infantry.

Yes, for instance, here are the infantry research paths:

Grenadiers:
Attack Columns -> Grenadiers -> Fire Discipline
L'Ordre Mixte:
L'Ordre Mixte -> Advanced Skirmishing -> Tactical Flexibility
Square:
Square -> Practiced Square -> Advanced Square

Whereas under the "Warfare" research tree you have stuff like:

Corps d'Armee -> Merit-Based Promotions -> Advanced Command -> Nationalism

etc.
