Backing up

(Not actually a bug in ToS, but I felt this was probably the best subforum.)

Lately the computer on which I play ToS-WS has developed some hard drive problems. I can access it most of the time, but it randomly locks up. I'll probably take it in to have the HD replaced soon, but that means effectively wiping everything.

I'd prefer not to start over my squad, so that means I'd like to back up the game state so I can continue it after reinstalling ToS-WS.

I'm guessing that all I need to do is to save the old data/squads and data/titans directories, and then use them to replace the same directories in a fresh install. However, I wanted to doublecheck this with the forum before I have the drive replaced, and lose all access to the old files.

Correct, you need to backup the titan database and the squads. You might also want to backup your preferences, assuming you have changed anything there. And any maps you might have made yourself.
