Question reagrding schedule creator

Post by Frido1207 »

Hi all,

I´m not playing Round Robin.
So i want to ask if there is a way to create a schedule & save, paste & copy it for further seasons?
I´m still trying to get a 2 Div League running without interdiviisinonal games.
But before i can start a new season or if i´m hitting the "restart" button, i have to go to the schedule editor & fill in the games manually.
Is there a workaround? Can i (for example) set a schedule, save & copy it into the league Db?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I think this may be possible. I seem to remember someone saying they have done this before. I havent tried it myself, but it should be possible. I will tinker and see if it can work, maybe others with the knowledge will chime in.

th1207 , not sure if this be a help at all but found it easier to use this to help make schedules for fantasy leagues and such. This site footballguys.com , has lots of things about fantasy football .Near top if you click tools it takes to page where on that page you can set up a schedule. Has several different combinations . Ithink most teams it can do is 32 teams . Hopefully gary can or someone can get you answer on how to post it faster.

Ok, it is very possible and works like a charm

I use Microsoft access, but im sure it would work in open office also.

Just open the schedule table in the database, highlight and copy the schedule and you can paste it into an excel file to edit or save or whatever. Then copy it and paste it back in to the schedule table when needed. I just took out a schedule that had 1 game played, changed the game played value to false and set the scores to 0, then put it back in and it worked perfectly.

Is there any schedule maker for more than 32 teams? Prefer college.
