How to make a plane refueling capable?

This new Commander's Edition of Harpoon Classic includes land units, neutral and unknown sides, an improved radar and area ECM model and a host of other improvements. Rounding that out are over 200 scenarios and the WestPac Battleset. Try out this great new version of the classic Harpoon!

How to make a plane refueling capable?

Post by Paulus Pak »

I'm using commondb (HCDB-080824) and I want to give Su-27 Flanker B's (ID in Aircraft Annex - 10304) midair refueling capability (currently both Flanker B and Su-27SM Flanker - ID10727 - are unable to refuel midair). In Edit Aircraft Screen I gave Su-27 Flanker B "Inflight refueling" flag, but nothing happened. I've checked it in EC2003 GIUK scenario (Sindre Silence) and I made my small test scenario (also in EC2003 GIUK Battleset) - both Flanker versions still cannot be refueled midair. What am I doing wrong?

Did you "Export" the database once you made changes?

I forgot about exporting. But when I've finally exported modified db Harpoon stopped working - looks like it's a problem with annexes, although all I did was adding flags in Edit Aircraft Screen, surely I didn't delete anything. I'm uploading two pics - first with error directly form harpoon, and second from Platform Editor. Is everything ok with exporting in my case? Lines with red numbers 1,2,3 and 4 are in polish, and they mean: "Nie mozna odnalezc okreslonego pliku" - Can't find certain file (line 1,2 and 3), "Nazwa pliku, nazwa katalogu lub skladnia etykiety woluminu jest nieprawidlowa" - File name, catalogue name or syntax volume label is incorrect".

Second pic, from exporting in PE.
Harpoon only crashes when I try to open EC2003/WestPac scenarios. Sorry for making problems. ;-)

"Nie mozna odnalezc okreslonego pliku" isn't a problem, but "get_number: p == NULL" is a problem. If you are able and willing, please zip up your pfData2005.mdb file into pfData2005.zip (or whatever names apply in your case) and e-mail to hc3@harpgamer.com so that we can take a look. This is the first time I've seen that message so something different is happening.

I've sent the file. Thank's for any advice.
Well problem is solved - I was using Access XP and it was corrupting db on exporting. I've switched to Access 97 Runtime supplied with the game and now everything is ok.
I should have read forum carefully before playing with DB.
Thanks for assistance Tony.
