Will the Admiral's Edition have a calculator on it? I mean I hate having to calculate if transports have enough space to load any number or size of units![:-]

If you had bothered to read any of the threads on the AE subforum, you might find out about the new loading system, which tells you EXACTLY how much loading costs and what ships can load what.

So how large a grill is needed to fit one (1) Terminus?

Is open-pit BBQing the best way to get the most flavor?

Could you please tell me where it is?

Hi. I did not look at the other subforums but, where is this new loading system? Please give me a link or page number and what subforum. I see that you are from Denmark. I'm in the states myself. My parents are form Swedden and Italy.

I think you should either answer the question Terminus or shut up............I have been around longer than you and I will ask questions like that WITHOUT trying to read thru 80,000+ posts etc.

We try to attract new players and you try to run them off with you attitude. Either help out of shut up.

Hang on, I'll get some stuff together. Short answer is:
No - there is no direct place where you can ask if unit X can fit on TF Y.
Yes - there are several places that give you an approximation and there is sufficient data to check it yourself.

I'm fairly certain I didn't ask for your opinion, so you can keep it to yourself. If you come to me without being willing to do your own research and with a snooty attitude to boot, you can go to a certain hot place.

I do not think he came to YOU.......he came to the forum in general. And the only attitude I see is yours.

And if you do not like the way the question is asked, maybe try just ignoring the question and say nothing.

The land unit screen shows the total load cost by type. In this case, 14202 Troop and 2208 cargo. It is always best to load in "natural" mode (that is, troops in troop space and equipment in cargo space), but the load routines have a certain amount of cross loading ability.

The "fit" calculations for cross loading are very complex, and are not done until a specific land unit(s) is ordered to load on a given TF. If you saw the calcualtions, you'd emphatically nod at this point.

One you have a TF and possible load units, the data gets a little easier to use. Still no accounting for cross load (that's why "Fit" is "??").

Damn jpeg compression has destroyed the red text, but the unit does not fit. You have a get-out-of-jail-free card however, the "Get More Ships" button. This will add enough ships to the TF to fully load the unit (assuming they are available in the port).

The man is a newbie and didn't use the search engine which sometimes reduces the lookup to mere 200 posts. And treated him like he should know the forum  from ene to end. He made a bad joke. He later said he was sorry.

I don't post alot but have been around awhile and your people skills need some work. Didn't use any smileys.

Now for a finial thought. The AE team has been doing a great job trying to get this done. I know you all would like to get it done and everybody is still asking for things. Just keep at it and don't get pissed because newbies wanting to get information. Your Beta AAR's are the best thing to happen to this forum to slow down some of IS IT HERE YET WHINES. Just keep at it, and mellow out towards us. Very few people have any concept of the hours of work you guys are putting in, but you decided to do it.
Your never Lost if you don't care where you are.

CHILL - DAMNIT!

Using the power granted to me by absolutely no one I hereby declare amnesty.   All past sins forgiven, all future sins double in penalty.

I too found the initial post irritating.   Termie's response was too rough.

All done now, RIGHT?
