OT: Play Hard Football

Post by therhino »

Hi guys just wanted to let you know about the free online coaching game "Play Hard Football" I have been folowing this for a while and it sounds pretty cool. Play Hard Football is a lot like Maximum Football except it is online only. You make a team, build plays, design a uniform, and coach your team during games. They have a website here: http://www.playhardsports.com I have included a picture so you can see the quality of the graphics and a beta will be released sometime in 2008 hopefully this month. Play Hard Sports is located in Boston and is planning on making a baseball and basketball games as well. I would like to warn you though that they are taking a more simple approach to this game so it may be to basic for the more hard core football coach. Since it's free I guess I have to give it a try, but there isn't much info yet I can't tell if it will be any good.

So far, there isn't much there, but the premise is fine.

Lighting can do so much with graphics effects.  It would have been great to see updated graphics with Maximum Football.

From what I have heard they will have forums as soon as the beta is released.

I see Mykal, ScottWar, and mbsports are signed up.

This thing is a long way off though.

The terms and conditions are pretty harsh.  You sign away all rights to anything you create and even talk about there.

Yeah, I pretty much try anything football related I can find. Not being a 'creative' type, they wont get any art work/uniforms out of me. My area is play creation and game strategy.

Well I actually dont mind that at all
so I make a uniform and they keep it with all rights of mine gone

never mind, whats one uniform
you just know its gonna be designed the same as my Yellowknife for MF anyway
so they wont have anything unique and the SaberCats legacy will grow even bigger [:D][:D][:D]
