This version of RHS - which is substantially a rework of carrier deck armor and protection - was inspired by Dili's queries on the matter. We found it was possible to make these changes without adverse impacts. We also found gross inconsistencies in carrier durability data - and they are corrected. The data is published in a separate thread - and on spreadsheets available on request. Testing indicates it works well.

There are a few eratta folded in as well as a few technical enhancements discovered from testing. Houtou now has 5 forts to start - not just the forts organic to the static defense position (which even has a 16 inch naval gun prototype which really was mounted there).

HMS Victorious is reclassified into the second (rather than first) version of Illustrious class carriers (Implacable class).
And in EBO we have HMS Unicorn recast (and renamed) as a repeat Implacable (named Irresistible after a cancelled Audacious).
Also only one (vice four) Audacious class is laid down - but it is completed in time for operations in 1945.

Now packaged and uploading - scenario by scenario - to the primary distribution list.

Level 6 scenarios available only on request.

Level 5 was not updated in most respects.

Reviewing an old pm prior to deteting it - I wondered if I had got HMS Warspite correct? Checking I found both class records had editor facing errors. I will check for all ship class/ship records and reissue a 7.951 update - tomorrow or so. Warspite should have its main guns face fore and aft (duh) and its light AAA face forward, left and right (duh) - and its radar face all (duh again) - not what it says. The WITP editors tend to mess up facing between items 1-10 and 11-20 - so fixing in Editor X is recommended.

I remember you did correct the Warspite facing issue several versions back.

I found problems with HMAS Adealide updates. The first one should update in 7/42 and the second in 9/43. The .50 cals had incorrect facing - and one of the sides was also defined as USN 6 inch guns. These are ship class records 1713 and 1721.

HMS Kent class (ship record 1410) had problems with radar facing.
So did HMS Edinburgh class (Ship record 1420).
HMS Implaccable last update (ship record 1722) had a problem with radar facing.

I modified IJN Yamato 13mm HMGs to 2 on each side instead of 4 facing all (apparently inherited). This is ship class record 1 and did not apply to scenarios 74 or 77 - which do not fit 13mm guns at all.

HMS Centurion is removed from play in EBO - there is no crew for her and her steel must be melted down and recast.

In other EOS family scenarios she appears under her own name as a CLAA - the biggest in the world.

In strictly historical CVO and BBO family scenarios - she appears as a deception ship lookalike for Anson - as before - but the upgrades for that class had lost their historical form - and this is restored. They end up with 4 x 40 mm 2 pounders and 17 x 20 mm Orlikons.
