Bombur mod Human vs Human playtesting

-Here is the first AAR on Bombur mod Human vs. Human playtesting: Players are Bombur, Vic and Grymme plus 2 AI (no bonus). Map has 40x40 hexes and 50 cities, with about 50% water (to allow for epic naval battles). More info latter.

I start with the Wired Marines. We started in an isolated Island, far from the main continent where most battles will happen. It will be harder to expand, but we´re very close to a big Island which I can capture completely before the others (I hope). We started to build small cargoships and Rifles I. Two ships are already departing our capital.

Tough starting location.
History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.

After a few turns, all territory is occupied. I got an entire Island and a small beachhead in the main continent, which won´t last too much. Priority now is to build a powerful navy to make my lands safe. Vic and Grymme are in much better position than myself.

-The game isn´t going very well, Grymme and Vic are anihilating the AI players. I couldn´t expand my foothold in the main continent. Hopefully, I can build a huge Navy to defend my Islands and wait for Grymme and Vic to fight each other, trouble is that I won´t be in position to fight the winner. Anothet trouble is that Grymme and Vic might decide to take on my Island before the final battle between them....

-Vic´s forces are patrolling the seas south of my main Island. A few skirmishes between our forces resulted in a minor victory for Vic. He sank three of my torpedo boats and lost one destroyer.
