Error 486....yikes

Up until the latest Windows updates my laptop has run the games( versions 1.2,1.3, and 1.4) under Vista just fine...tried the Compatability cures and none worked...updated my comp yesterday ( Nov 12 2008) I also shut down my Anti virus to no avail...YIKES (Also tried to send this to support all I gat was an error message)

Maybe try reinstalling the 1.04 UPDATE?

Error 486 is a registry and serial issue.
