I will promptly download and test it out! And nothing but encouragement and positive reinforcement will be forthcoming. New content for a good game is always appreciated. My PS3 is getting lonely since version 1.2.2 was released, though my cold laser mechs seem to be running hotter these days. Hmmm, guess we'll have to wait for the grand changelog posting...

Changelog for your version is short and does not affect heat. But I'm adding more changes/fixes as we speak. I decided not to release more updates until I feel satisfied with the result.

Darn, that means it's my crappy designing and poor heat management!

Great and probably a good way to do it... almost like you've done this before.

Thanks.

Hmm, the DP reward is "a bit" too high...?
Even if you kill/disable Gen Jawa, you can still lose the mission. Is that your intention? Seems a bit odd, taking the story into consideration.
The difficulty level, maybe you should set some tonnage (and experience) reference in Squad Requirements. Since team B is tonnage locked, and the Pods have virtually no external armor, a large squad of LR titans might call this a cakewalk. [;)]
The 2nd minefield, it's set to ground+air and team1 only. Intentional?
The change landscape event, is it supposed to trigger with the explosion? It doesn't.

Yes, I had considered only focusing on the General.  However with the lightly armored titans they were piloting it might have been too easy.  Besides, leading officers could still be dangerous as they could take over the operation.  So I settled on the way I have it.

How would suggest modifying the tonnage and squad requirements?  I hinted at recon, which I specifically made the board to favor.  I like the idea of brute force not always being the answer.

I used Squad D to compensate for the locked tonnage of Team B.  They will absorb any difference in tonnage between the player's team and the AI.  While these Titans are not the objective, they certainly will keep the player busy.

The second minefield should probably be changed to both on team 1.  I haven't usually seen any of the ally squad survive, and never be able to move after the first minefield.  I'll have to look into the change landscape event.  I think I had been trying to get it to be timed, but didn't understand a fine point of that process until LarkinVB explained it to me.  It isn't being used.  Instead I used a text when a team enters a certain hex.

Sorry about the DP problem.  I viewed the mission as possibly traumatic and added a bit more.  How did the forces fare?  Is it a challenge?  Did you try larger titans?  Do you see "it" coming?

Just a few modifications added. I would like to see whether others have a hard time with this or not. I have problems with some combinations, even though I made it.

I doubt you can succeed with too heavy a force. Please let me know if you win.
